Željko Popadić dr.med.dent.

There are no impossible dreams, but only our limited perception of what we consider possible.

Dr. Željko Popadić was born in 1966. He graduated at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sarajevo in 1991. He acquired his post-graduate education and training at renowned international universities and centers (Gothenburg, Padova, Achen, Copenhagen,...), mainly in the field of dental implantology and implantoprosthetics, all under the guidance of renowned world experts.

As a crown on his education is the gIDE Master Program in Implantology, achieved in 2008/2009 at the Faculty of Dentistry, UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Dr. Popadić is an active member of the HKDM - Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine, the HLZ - Croatian Medical Association, the HPD - Croatian Society of Periodontology, the HDDI - Croatian Society of Dental Implantology, the EAO - European Association for Osseointegration, the ADI - Association of Dental Implantology of the United Kingdom, the gIDE - the Global Institute for Dental Education and the ITI - International Team for Implantology.

Since 1997, he has been successfully leading the Dental Implant Centre, DIC, in Rovinj, whose practice is based on implant dentistry. Dr. Popadić started lecturing in 2004, within the Nobel Biocare Mentors Program and nowadays he is still doing so for the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine. He is also the opinion leader for implant distributors in Croatia, he manages training courses in the field of implant dentistry. He is also a gIDE’s faculty member (Global Institute for Dental Education).

In his free time he spends lot of time with his family, his great loves are music and motorcycling, he occasionally runs his own music show on the local radio station and plays tennis. He often participates in numerous charity projects and supports various non-profit organizations and projects such as the Association of Down syndrome in Pula.
